RECRUITMENT OF CLERKS AND PROBATIONARY OFFICERS - 2009
Eligible Candidates are requested to apply online from 04.05.2009 to 04.06.2009.

Candidates are advised to download call letters for appearing in the written test from the website from 18.06.2009 onwards by entering their registration number and password which will be generated at the time of applying online.
How to Apply Online federalbank Jobs
Eligible candidates are required to apply online through the Bank's website only and no other means/ mode of application will be acceptable. (a) Guidelines for the candidates. The candidates should have a valid email id before applying online and the same shall remain valid for the duration of the recruitment process. In case the candidate does not have a valid e-mail id, he/ she shall create a new email id before applying online.
Candidates shall visit the Bank's website www.federalbank.co.in and follow the link "careers" and download the challan for remitting the application fee. Challan No.1 should be used for remittance of application fee through any of the branches of Federal Bank and Challan No. 2 should be used for remittance of application fee through any of the branches of State Bank of India. Candidates shall fill up the challan & remit the application fee at any of the branches of Federal Bank/ State Bank of India.
Thereafter, the candidates are required to apply online and mention the application fee payment particulars given in the challan in the online application form. Candidates, including SC/ ST candidates paying the fee through the branches of State Bank of India would need to pay an additional amount of Rs.50/- as service charge to State Bank of India. The payment of application fee must be made on or after the date of opening of the online registration gateway i.e. 04.05.2009 but before the close of business on 04.06.2009 i.e. close of online registration gateway.
Even if the Bank extends the last date of registration due to technical reasons, the valid dates for the payment of application fee as indicated above will not be changed. After remitting the application fee, logon to our Bank's websitewww.federalbank.co.in and follow the link "careers". Then click "Recruitment of Probationary Officers and Clerks – 2009". Then click "apply online". The system will open online application. Fill up this online application with all the details required in the application and click"Submit" available at the bottom of the online application.
A Registration Number and Password will appear immediately on the screen. Candidates are required to take printout of the online application using the above registration number and password. Candidates shall retain the printout of the online application with them until the result of the written examination is published.
The printout will be required to be sent to a specified address, only if the candidate qualifies in the written examination. Candidates are required to bring to the examination center at the time of written examination, the call letter, which can be generated by the candidates using the registration number and password obtained at the time of registration of online application. A recent passport size color photograph shall be pasted on the call letter.
Candidates should submit the bank copy of the application fee Payment Receipt Challan along with the call letter at the time of written examination, failing which the candidate will not be admitted for the written examination.
Valid proof of identity such as PAN card/ Passport/ Voter's ID Card/ Driving License/ Permanent Identity card issued by the present employer or any other valid proof of identification with a photograph should be produced at the time of interview to be conducted by the Bank.

Civil Services Exam 2008 Toppers List
Miss Shubhra Saxena (Roll No.159306), has topped the Civil Services Examination 2008. She has done B.Tech from IIT, Roorkeee. This is her 2nd attempt. The second ranker is Miss Sharandeep Kaur Brar (Roll No.307085). She has done M.A. from Punjab University.
Mr.Varinder Kumar Sharma (Roll No.170034), is the topper among male candidates. He has secured overall 4th rank. He has done B.E. from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh. This is his first attempt. Incidentally, Shri Sharma is a physically challenged candidate.
The top 25 candidates include 15 males and 10 females. Educational qualification-wise they comprise of 12 candidates belonging to Commerce, Mangement, Humanities, Science & Social Sciences; 9 candidates belonging to Engineering and 4 candidates belonging to Medical Science background.

Important Notice for Second Stage Exam

Based on Preliminary (First stage) written examination held on 01.03.2009 following candidates whose Roll Numbers are given below in ascending order are found provisionally eligible for Mains(Second stage examination).
Mains (Second stage) on-line examination is fixed at Government Engineering College, Chandkheda, Ahmedabad on 18.05.2009 and 19.05.2009. Candidates who have been found provisionally eligible in Preliminary examination have been sent call letter through U.P.C. for Second stage examination.
Candidates are advised to bring their original certificates with one set of attested xerox copies without fail. Those candidates who will be found provisionally suitable in the Mains (Second stage) examination will be required to stay for at least 4 to 5 days for document verification immediately after On-line exam.
If any of the following candidate does not receive call letter may contact at special enquiry counter at RRB-Ahmedabad office on 17.05.2009 between 10.00 hrs. to 17.00 hrs. Representation in this regard after above date will not be entertained.
